Another clinic in the works

So, Mike Krause is a done deal for the clinic over Fall Break this next year. I know you guys are going to love him! This past week, I did an online webinar for the bronze level coaching certification within USA Wrestling. For those of you that don't know, USA Wrestling is the organization that leads Olympic development across the U.S. from tiny kids to future Olympians training in Colorado Springs. Sam Barber led the clinic. He is the head of the coaching development for USAW. I have talked to him a lot about program development, and he is featured in an earlier post when I talked about the Air Force Academy camps. I am going to go to the OTC(Olympic Training Center) in September to do the Silver level coaching certification.

Anyways, he has offered to come out to Cedaredge to run a clinic for us. He would also bring along a National Team member who is in training for the Olympics. Since we are just getting a USA Wrestling freestyle and greco club started, it would be free. Bonus! So, I think I'll try to set it up for our February break or April break next year.
